Dual is a piece composed of two parts that make up a conceptual jewel, with sinuous shapes simulating the profile of two silhouettes.This interpretation of modern architectural aesthetics is made from 316L stainless steel to create a portable sculptural design.With this piece I intend to invite the viewer to a reflective moment. The idea is to promote a state of consciousness in the search to find our essence.It all starts with self-love, and self-love simply means wishing ourselves well.And to do this we must free ourselves from that suffering, from our DUAL self, from the false ego, from attachment, from negative emotions, from our behavioral patterns, from fear… that confusion of not knowing who we are.And we can do this by starting with finding our truth, a truth that is only found if we achieve non-duality, to emerge our self, in essence, a pristine state of peace. Which is what transforms us, what frees us, what heals us and what enlightens us to achieve natural happiness.
My intention is to generate that pause, evoking a contemplative act and living an experience of seeing oneself reflected and for the viewer to become part of it, culminating the final work by wearing the piece and making it their emblem of identity.
The message I want to convey is “Live in the world, take advantage of everything life offers, use everything as fuel to empower yourself with the resources to be able to make those changes and take advantage of the situation we find ourselves in to mature and grow in the future.” path”.
Have a full life, enjoy everything that is offered to us, but without dependencies, without exaggerated demands, without asking things and others to make you happy. You are responsible for your own happiness.
